We started out going through the alleys of shops for shopping. But before hand, we went to La Place to eat. It’s a nice place where they have a number of items you can choose and combine. I had a salmon sandwich, and Lala had some sort of noodle works with noodles, beef, and some vegetables. Then we continued looking at stores.
At this moment, I started to feel a bit weak. In the morning, my throat was feeling a bit weird. It’s a typical symptom for a cold. After a few stops at some shops, and after Lala purchased a brand new pair of shoes, we decided to go home so I can rest before we would go to Rotterdam.
I slept for 2 hours. Luckily I did, because I started to develop a fever while sleeping. But by the time I woke up, I was feeling much better. Sure to go to Rotterdam, we headed to Central station.

It took about an hour to get to Rotterdam. We were on the 2nd class IC (InterCity) train. I took the opportunity to sleep as much as possible during this time. Once we got there, we walked immediately to the Chinese restaurant where Lala’s friends waited. It was a typical Chinese restaurant, with a rotating center table. I found her friends quite funny and great. I’m glad that she had made such friends. After dinner, we went next door to a cafĂ© for some more chatting and drinking.
One of her friends’ boyfriend had agreed to drive us back to Amsterdam. How nice! His driving was a little aggressive though. But we couldn’t complain. We made it to the hotel in one piece. Phew!
