We made it to one of Paris’ train stations, Gare de Bercy. Our train to Bordeaux was actually from Gare de Montparnasse, which left us no choice but to take a taxi to get there. We got a little taste of Paris, and personally I couldn’t wait to get here after Bordeaux. But for now, it was time to meet an old friend that I haven’t seen in about 4 years.
The French train, TGV, was much better than the Italian’s. The ride was relatively smoother and pleasant. Moreover, the speed was incredibly fast, perhaps it topped nearly 70 mph. Therefore, in no time we finally arrived in Bordeaux. The only complain that I had about the train was that they didn’t provide power outlets. My blog writing had to be postponed at a later time, which may be a bit difficult because we’d sightsee most of the time anyway. I suppose I could find time to write a few.
